Our Big Northwest Trip

northwest tripAugust 15-29, 2010

On this two-week trip we camped a few days alone, then met my brother, Chris, and his wife, Karen, in the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho for a couple of days. From there we went north to Montana and camped with our good friends, Kathy and Robin, for six nights: three nights at Swan Lake and three nights in Glacier National Park. Then we went to Kathy's parents' lake cabin in Idaho for a couple of nights before we headed back home.

This was an absolutely wonderful trip for us. The longest number of nights we've camped in a row. (And the longest number of days I've gone without a shower in years!) We saw lots of beautiful areas, and it was wonderful to camp together with people we love. I wish we could do it all over again!
