Grand Canyon, Arizona
September 17-19, 2008
We had reservations for two nights at the North Rim Campground. We got in at dusk and made a quick dinner.
The next morning we hiked the Transept Trail from the campground to the Grand Canyon Lodge, with exquisite views of the canyon. From there, we continued on to Bright Angel Point, which juts out into the canyon, giving views all around.
The sunset that night was a little disappointing, but I woke up at 6:00 the next morning and hiked the trail again with my camera.
